There's not too much exciting stuff to share with you, unfortunately. So, don't say I didn't warn ya! =)
I'm a California girl, born and raised, and aside from a few years spent living in Las Vegas, this is where I've been. I've always been most relaxed and at peace near the beach, and could spend hours just sitting on the sand, staring out at the ocean. I would love to someday live closer to the beach (as in oceanfront home! lol) but for now, I get there when I can.
I purchased my first home a few months ago & this blog will be a journal of sorts, documenting that process, as well as the process of making someone else's house into my home. I have been so inspired by all the blogs I've read with all their amazing ideas and hope to incorporate many DIY projects into my home, as well. I would much rather make something my own than purchase something hundreds of other people have and leave it standard and expected. I want my surroundings to reflect me, and I think the best way to do that is to create and design.
